Quality Department

Tarrier Foods’ quality team is led by Asha Prasad, who holds her PhD in Food Safety. Additionally, each of our production rooms is staffed with a trained quality technician to ensure we are following our quality processes and procedures and performing regular quality checks during production

Certifications

In addition to the qualifications listed below, we are always looking at additional certifications that can make our quality program even stronger. 

Allergen Segregation Program

At the Tarrier Foods facility, production rooms and the warehouse are organized to prevent allergen cross-contamination, and various control measures are in place to ensure the safety of both work-in-progress and finished products. Tarrier Foods also segregates production lines and warehousing for proper control of Gluten Free certified products.

Metal Detection

Tarrier Foods offers both trunk line and in-line metal detection to be able to target tighter metal detection tolerances as well as run metalized film that can be used to improve shelf-life with or without modified atmosphere.

Vendor Validation Program

As part of our SQF program, Tarrier Foods has a rigorous Vendor Validation Program to ensure that we only accept the highest quality ingredients from companies that share a dedication to producing Safe Quality Foods.
